Fandom Clinic; Thursday [01/11].

Libby had been all excited to come into the clinic today and start teaching Stabby all of the things she was learning in Japanese class and show off the vocabulary list for him to study so that he could use it to impress the lobsters, only to remember, as soon as she started to tell him about it....

....that he didn't actually talk.

Or, at the very least, he didn't really use words to communicate, managing to do so almost seamlessly through a variety of gestures, movements, and claw language.

She just needed to sit and think about that one for a good, long moment, until, finally, she just shook her head.

"I'm going to teach you anyway," she decided resolutely, pulling out the lists. "It might come in handy some day! You never know!"

The Clinic is open!

It doesn't need to be a medical emergency to interrupt the impromptu language lesson, even!

Non-emergency interruption in three...two...one....

"Hey Libby! Hows it going?" Kurt said as he pulled his jacket around him a little more "Staying warm enough today?"

"Ohayō gozaimasu, Kurt!" Libby sang out, beaming proudly at him for a moment before she laughed ans went to grab the extra chair to pull up for him. "That means good morning! And it has been a good morning, plenty warm in here, too. How about you?"

"Ah, Guten Morgen to you too Libby" he returned in his native tongue with a nod and broad grin. "Aye always nice here in the clinic. Hopefully, there is enough of a chill still though that some homemade beef stew sounds warm and inviting?" he asked as he held up the familiar-looking bag.

"Well, that all depends," said Libby, with a little bit of mischief in her grin that was also bright in her eyes, "was this beef stew made by you?"

"Ya know what it was! And the carrots, potatoes, and onions are from the farm! Folks sent me home with some fresh veggies from the garden, along other things, so I decided to make a nice stew with them" Kurt said his eyes twinkling in return.

And that response, that sparkle in Kurt's eyes to meet hers, just made Libby's smile that much brighter and was absolutely going to inspire her to nudge her chair even closer to Kurt's.

"That's sounds incredible," she said, which felt like such an understatement. "I can't wait to try some! And it's the perfect meal for a day like today, thank you, Kurt."

She reached over to help him get everything for the meal nice and set up, asking, as he did, "How have your classes been so far?"

Kurt's grin went from ear to ear almost at that as he started to dish out the stew. "I thought it sounded like a great dish for the weather we have been having! And the classes are good. I have two classes and both on Monday so I pretty much have the rest of the week open which is nice! How are your classes going so far?"
