Fandom Clinic; Thursday [12/08].
She knew she was a little odd for it, but Libby didn't actually really like Coca-Cola. Or any soda pop, for that matter, but she did like big friendly polar bears and would honestly still be in the park being fascinated by them if she didn't have to be at the clinic today.
So, instead, she was at the front desk, trying to do her lessons and working her way through a bottle of Coke very slowly, while the nurses exchanged stories of treating various bear attacks they'd had to deal with over the years. Which made Libby wonder if she should be paying more attention to them, just in case the bears turned out to be not so friendly after all.
They were so kind, though! They were giving everyone Coke, in the fancy glass bottles and everything! She really couldn't even imagine them taking a turn for the worst, but she supposed they'd be pretty prepared just in case they did.
Stabby, meanwhile, just seemed content to have a new medium to work with for his art.
The Clinic is oopen!

The Front Desk - 12/08.
Re: The Front Desk - 12/08.
"Hey Libby," he greeted with a smile. "See you got your cola too!"
Re: The Front Desk - 12/08.
Don't mind the slightly chiding tone; it couldn't be helped.

And she cared about his health! Not even just because it was kind of her job, either!
But she also didn't want to be a nag, so, once she'd said her piece, she was mode than happy to shift the focus. "And I did meet the polar bears," she confirmed, her eyes brightening with a big smile. "Oh, aren't they just the sweetest? I know you should probably never get that close to a normal polar bear, so this is just amazing!"
Re: The Front Desk - 12/08.
"Yeah, it was so cool getting to see them!" Kurt agreed. "Tge only other time I was that close to a bear was when we visited a nearby village and someone there had a bear they had raised from a small cub. It was like a pet almost!"
Re: The Front Desk - 12/08.
That said, however...
"A little bear cub would be incredibly cute, though."
Libby would totally still have tried to keep a bear as a pet, it was true.

Re: The Front Desk - 12/08.
She trailed off, just a little, before suddenly moving to pull up Kurt's usual chair so he could join her at the counter.
"How was your day today, so far?" she asked. "Anything interesting besides the bears?"
Re: The Front Desk - 12/08.
"Couldn't come empty-handed," he said, sliding it a little farther toward Libby. "They are polar bear-approved though, so hope you like Christmas cookies," he said.
"And today's been amazing! We had a field trip with Palenteology class!"
Re: The Front Desk - 12/08.
Re: The Front Desk - 12/08.
Kurt grinned to show he was teasing her a bit and opened the tin to show a variety of decorated cookies in fun shapes.
"The class went to see Professor Cutter's research lab in London. It was really cool all the tech and stuff that they have there. And we got to see some live dinosaurs
possiblywhile we were there too!"Re: The Front Desk - 12/08.
And to try to smooth out that sudden spark of defensiveness (over cookies, of all things!), she smiled much easier as she said, "I wonder how a dinosaur would be as a pet."
Re: The Front Desk - 12/08.
Kurt now realized that Libby's family probably didn't do that much if at all and he felt bad for joking around about it. He hesitated for a moment, debating whether he should invite her to help out with the next batch he planned on making sometime next week. But he thought better of it and let it go, for now, and focused on the other question Libby asked.
"Depending on the dino it could be really cool or really really bad," he said with a small grin as the image of having a T-rex, velociraptor, or Dilophosaurus as a pet hit him.
Re: The Front Desk - 12/08.
She was quiet for a moment before her brows lifted and she asked, "If you could have a dinosaur as a pet, which one would you want?"
Re: The Front Desk - 12/08.
Kurt thought for a moment and then grinned as he looked over at Libby.
"If we could find dino-shaped cookie cutters we could make dinosaur Christmas cookies!" And yes, that was a 'we' in there.
Re: The Front Desk - 12/08.
The most she really knew about dinosaurs was that they didn't make it onto the Ark, so they weren't really worth learning much about.
"But I think that's be nice, some dino Christmas cookies. If we found some before next week, you could even bring some to your class!"
