Fandom Clinic; Thursday, 07/14.
Things were pretty quiet at the clinic so far that Thursday; the nurses were focused and busy on their own tasks, and Libby was getting a lot of work done on her training workbooks and modules at the computer. So it startled her a little bit when she heard a phone ringing, and stiffening with the anticipation of some emergency, she reached for the phone to answer it...
...but it wasn't the clinic's main phone that was ringing. She answered it and no one was there, and the ringing continued a moment longer. It then stopped, and, when she looked over at Stabby's tank, she realized he'd answered his stabophone, clutching the receiver in one claw and waving his other claw in almost a beckoning motion. He then held out the receiver toward her, repeating the motion.
"It...it's for me?" Libby guessed, skeptically, but when Stabby seemed to insist, she very cautiously leaned in toward the tank, half expecting to actually get stabbed, but he just handed her the little receiver of the stabophone and she said, uncertainly, "Hello?"
"We've been trying to reach you about your car's extended warranty...."
"But I don't even have a car," said Libby, after having listen to far too much of that since she really didn't know any better, "and this is a crab's phone. I don't think he has one, either."
Granted, she wouldn't have expected a crab to have a phone, either, so...

The Front Desk - 07/14.

Re: The Front Desk - 07/14.
It had felt like so long since Kurt dropped by at one of her clinic shifts, though, that her excitement at seeing him quickly turned into worried concern.
"Oh, no, something's not wrong, is it?"
Re: The Front Desk - 07/14.
"Seems I haven't stopped by often enough... and I also seem to have far too much food from my cooking session yesterday for even me and Guillermo to eat through. Think you could help me out with that?"
Kurt broke into a grin as the laugh he had been fighting back finally broke through and he held up a large bag.
Re: The Front Desk - 07/14.
"Oh, you....brat!" Libby declared, but she laughed. With how many times she'd gone and tried to pull Kurt's leg (could she say his tail, in this case?), she could hardly be mad, not even at the sheepish blush rising to her cheeks behind her grin. "Must have been an awful lot of food, though, if not even you two boys could work through it all!"
Re: The Front Desk - 07/14.
"Well, I've been trying out some recipes for Friday game night. And I got a little carried away with the serving sizes. I'm used to making food for the team and Logan alone could eat for three people so..." Kurt shook his head as he started unloading the bag.
"I made SpƤtzle noodles and Kartoffelpuffer or fried potato pancakes."
Re: The Front Desk - 07/14.
"Well, I'm only likely to eat enough for one person," she admitted, smiling softly as she watched Kurt, "but I'm happy to have the chance to do my part all the same. Thank you."
But her head tilted a little as her attention caught on something else. "Is this Friday game night the same as Graham's game night tomorrow?"
Re: The Front Desk - 07/14.
Kurt looked at Libby a moment before continuing. "Has Graham or Guillermo talked to you about it yet? I know we are still looking for a few more players. We'd love to have you join us!"
Re: The Front Desk - 07/14.
Which had pretty much sold her on it, if she was honest.
Re: The Front Desk - 07/14.
"And I think we are all so far basically using a version of our characters from the LARP class in the game too! So it would be nice to be able to flush them out more as characters and get them interacting more. And we could always use a healer in the group too!"
Re: The Front Desk - 07/14.
Re: The Front Desk - 07/14.
"There's some sauce for them is you would like" Kurt said nodding to the smaller container in the bag. "Some people like them plain, others like a little barbeque sauce with them."
Re: The Front Desk - 07/14.
Libby grinned back at Kurt with that response, letting the little pleasant thrill she got from it just sort of sit there, before her attention turned to...sauces, apparently.
And, after considering the options, she asked, "Which do you prefer, Kurt?"
