fandom_clinic | Fandom Clinic; Thursday [01/06].

It had already been a pretty wild week for Libby so far; it was almost a little too overwhelming, and she was definitely looking forward to some quiet time to herself (...somewhere; obviously, she wouldn't be getting much of that in her room, but there was a library! And the woods!), but first before she could do any of that....she had her first day at the Clinic!

This was what she had been looking forward to all week, even more so than starting classes at an actual high school (which was not at all what she was expecting!), and she knew it was going to be a lot, but she was ready for it! The nurses were so nice, too, in showing her around and teaching her the basics, but at the same time, they seemed to enjoy having someone so eager to learn and quick to pick up on things,and it turned out that she'd already knew plenty of the basics just from having to take care of all the Littles and their various scrapes and scraps and that one time Charity choked on that chicken bone.

And there was plenty of information to pour over and techniques to learn, so that even if it was a nice quiet day at the Fandom Clinic (the nurses assured her that most days actually were, but when they weren't? Boy, would she be in for it!), she was not going to be bored and there was plenty of things she had to catch up on!

The Clinic is open!

Well, don't get too comfortable in that research there, Libby, because in came Prompto with a very passed out Liz in his arms, and he was wasting absolutely no time in trying to get her into the hands of someone much more capable of dealing with something like this than he was.

"Hi, I need help," he rushed the words out. "I think she passed out! From...from exhaustion, or something!"

Ohgods, he really, really, really hoped that was all it was!

Liz was going to be so embarrassed about this later but since she was unconscious she wasn’t aware of how much worry and concern she was causing right now.

At least she was still breathing even though she was still very pale.

And, really, at this point, considering how everything else had been going this week, Libby really shouldn't have expected that not even her first clinic shift would pass by without at least some excitement.

"Oh my goodness!" she gushed, eyes going wide as she sat up at attention at the desk, and feeling a brief moment of panic for not entirely knowing what to do. But she did know what to do, they went over it right at the beginning, she just wasn't expecting she'd have to actually do any of it so soon! But the poor woman looked terrible, and she didn't know how far the man had to carry her to get here, but he probably wouldn't mind not having to keep carrying her like that, so she moved immediately into action.

"Of course! Here, follow me, we'll get her set up in an exam room right away, and I'll grab one of the nurses to come help!"
