Fandom Clinic | Thursday
The lights were terrifying, especially when combined with everything else and while the mistletoe was just awful, really, with what they were saying, it could at least be ignored.
But, oh! How could anyone or anything say things like that?!
Elli was ever so glad that most of it didn't seem to impact the clinic, even though they were busier yet again than yesterday.
She thanked Wayne hurriedly for getting her to the clinic (and she was ever so grateful!) and got straight to work.
The Clinic is Open.
[And, naturally, Wayne modded with permission!]

Day Shift | Front Desk
Re: Day Shift | Front Desk
shamelessly moddedbrutalized Troy in his arms.So Wayne had definitely decided his goal today was pulling hapless idiots out of mean, pointy wreaths. But since he'd pretty much started with who he figured was the most hapless out of all the idiots...
"Way ya go, Elli," he said, wondering just where he could put the Troy at this point. "Got a live one."

"Welp," he announced somberly, "the lights got the snowmobile."
This tom fuckery had officially gone too far.
Re: Day Shift | Front Desk
"That's terrible!" she said, leaving aside her own concerns about getting back to the dorms for a more important question. "Are you hurt?"
Re: Day Shift | Front Desk
"Never better!" he assured her, despite a wince in his blink that might suggest otherwise. "Nothin' a few banages couldn't fix right up. Now the snowmobile, on the other hand..."
The shoulders that had gained their squareness in his proclamation of personal health only faltered further when considering the health of the vehicle.
"Might still be salvagable," he said, "if she weren't left behind. As of now, might be a bit too crazy out there. We'll be lucky if she's more'n scraps by the time we can get to her again..."
Re: Day Shift | Front Desk
Okay, a nurse-in-training.
"Come on," she said. "I'll take care of those things that need bandages first."
Exam Rooms
[As is clinic standard, anything in the exam rooms is NFB.]
Exam Room 1 - Troy
"Here," Elli said, holding the door wide for Wayne. "If you'd just put him on the bed, I'll take it from here."
Elli spoke briskly, none of the soft, fluttery girl in her voice.

Re: Exam Room 1 - Troy
She approved of it.
She... ah... didn't approve of the fuss Troy was making (it wasn't manly at all) but he was injured. Once Wayne had left, Elli shut the door.
"Alright," she said, surveying him carefully, noting his injuries even as she pulled on a pair of gloves. "What hurts the most? Tell me what happened?"
Re: Exam Room 1 - Troy
Plus, an icicle got him in his butt, Elli! His butt!
...well, actually, that part wasn't nearly as bad as he might make it out to be, but still! Butt!
How to actually explain all this when he was pretty sure everything hurt the most, especially his pride? That was a little harder.
"I got totally blindsided!" he said, seeming to muster up at least some sort of manliness, as if any could still be salvaged. "I was trying to avoid one of those angels, you know? And then bam! Lights, all up on my ankles, crawling up my leg, and when I tried to get them off, they pulled my legs right out under me! Definitely smashed right into my old football injury, too, and by the time that started hurting, I was being dragged into a wreath which had no right being even half as pointy as it was, Elli."
He pointed, incredulous, at all the scritches and scrapes on his face, before picking at all the tears and rips to his jacket, too.
"My leg is killing me, I might have a hot chocolate burn on my shoulder, and I'm pretty sure there's candy stabbed in my butt. It's...hard to pick a most."
Re: Exam Room 1 - Troy
But Elli was a girl and was allowed. Boys weren't supposed to cry over things like this.
... Elli was a bit sexist, yes.
"I'm going to take a look at your leg, okay?" If it was broken, she'd have to call in the other nurses, but she could handle a sprain.
Though, oh, maybe she should get x-rays done first...
"We'll have to do an x-ray to make sure nothing's broken," she said, deciding.
