Fandom Clinic, Friday
The nurses were all giving Jenkins -- and his small experiments -- a wide berth. Sure, it was nice that he was here trying to help and all, but did he have to be working with such aromatic magical ingredients?!
He at least agreed to keep it well away from the patients, their loved ones, and any incoming people, at least until he had something he thought he was worth trying on anyone. Even then, they were trying to convince him to follow FDA guidelines.
"Look, madam," he informed the one trying to hand him a stack of forms. "If you can find me suitably drained, incapacitated lab mice then I will be more than willing to try to cure them before moving to 'human trials'. Until such time, I ask you to please remove that infernal paperwork from my sight!"
Things were clearly going swimmingly at the clinic today.

Patient intake
Re: Patient intake
Before he folded the papers neatly and dropped them into the recycling bin when her back was turned.
What she considered necessary and what he did simply weren't the same.
"So," he asked Jenkins, "has there been any progress? And can you use any help?"
Re: Patient intake
His smelling salts were appalling. But they had to be to get past a mind control spell.
Re: Patient intake
Hannibal had no qualms about working with nasty things.
Re: Patient intake
Look, when you predated industrialization, you learned how to improvise.

Re: Patient intake
He headed for home.
Re: Patient intake
He preferred to park himself in one spot where he could be most useful. Adventure was for the young.
Re: Patient intake
Hannibal could barely stand it even through the glass (though likely nobody else could smell it when it was closed up), and it would have been banned on several airlines.

Patient beds
Re: Patient beds
He'd had worse, probably, but it wasn't like he was going to be telling anybody that to reassure them any time soon.
Re: Patient beds
"Kanan," she greeted. He looked so still. It was really disconcerting. "If you didn't want to teach me today you could have just said. This is really pretty melodramatic of you."
The last time she'd visited someone she cared about in a place like this was right before the Chief had died. Humor and sarcasm were how she kept from crying.

Did she have to move or put his hand down? She wasn't going to if she didn't have to.
Re: Patient beds
Or longer. This smell was going to linger.

Re: Patient beds
Nothing happened.
Jenkins sighed and pulled the vial back, resealing it. "No change. I'm very sorry, I truly hoped that would at least bring him around. I suppose it only supports the theory that the injury is not to this young man's mind or body, but his soul."

"I'm having my droid check our galaxy's databanks to see if we can find out anything," she offered.

Somewhere, Ezekiel Jones was facepalming, and didn't know (or care) why.

On second thought, perhaps it wasn't the most sustainable solution after all...
