FTEC, Thursday (3/24)

Scully was reading up on journal articles; drugs, long-term effects, types of intervention. And hoping for something silly today. A stubbed toe. A gremlin bite. Possibly the world's worst hangover.

[open and ocd-free!]

Triela had no stubbed two, or gremlin bite, or a hangover. In fact, she was just fine.

Relatively speaking.

Scully had wanted her to check in.

"Fine." Of course. "How are you?"

"There's been documentably more points of memory failure in the past couple of weeks." Simple. Matter-of-fact.

"That will be fine. Though you'll have to purge any records when we're finished."

Triela paused, thinking about that one. "I suppose that as long as I hold the copies, that would be acceptable."

"That's fine." Triela was comfortable enough with medical tests that she could just sit there and wait.

[identity profile] sorella-vecchia.livejournal.com 2011-03-25 02:52 am (UTC)(link)
"That's good." Triela supposed.

[identity profile] sorella-vecchia.livejournal.com 2011-03-27 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
"Okay." Triela was listening. She didn't seem too disinterested.

"Ah. That makes sense. I suspect that there are similar shots in my file."

They probably had a time-based analysis.

[identity profile] sorella-vecchia.livejournal.com 2011-03-27 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
"No." The question had been asked, but she'd never really even considered it as an option.

"Regular release supplemented by intravenous injection when necessary." Triela had a case in her pocket for that if it proved necessary.

"None come to mind." Triela just didn't... sound all that interested.

It wasn't that she didn't care, it was that she didn't care for herself. Only for the people she'd leave behind.

"There are regular reports being sent back. From me and... some other people." So that was taken care of. "As for my own state, it's fine. That's one of the things the Conditioning is designed to handle, after all."

Triela managed a slight smile. "I've already... done most of what I need to. The girls back home... they'll have someone to look after them." Claes was dependable, even if she was a bit cold.

"I'm as prepared as I suspect I'm likely to get."

[identity profile] sorella-vecchia.livejournal.com 2011-03-27 05:02 am (UTC)(link)
"Yes. Pink, clock, tulip, sky, dog, cloud, mountain."

[identity profile] sorella-vecchia.livejournal.com 2011-03-27 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
Triela blinked. "What?"

She'd gotten all of them.

She thought.

[identity profile] sorella-vecchia.livejournal.com 2011-03-27 05:10 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh." Triela tried to keep her voice controlled, but it was harder than she'd thought it would be. Some of the tension probably bled through.

"Not for me," Triela muttered.

She sighed and shook her head. "No. I'm fine." Or... as fine as she got.
