Simon was reading a medical journal. He had read it before, but it didn't matter. Anything that would distract him from the giggling nurses was a good thing. It might not have worked completely but it was better than nothing.

Just like she'd thought, the trip was too much for her, and Dinah immediately leaned as far over as she could to throw up, so as not to hit Griff's shoes. "Uuugh."

"At least you admit that much," she muttered. She rubbed her forehead. "I want to go back to the dorms now." She looked over at Griff. "Could you get a rickshaw, and walk me to my room, Griff? I still feel like I could pass out, and someone's supposed to watch me 'til I get back."

Realizing Dinah was done there and wanted him to take her home, he nodded. "I'll even promise the driver a good tip if he can keep to the smooth paths."
