Martha had been very grateful for the quiet of the clinic yesterday. They hadn't had many zombies come to try to get in - the nurses had been quite fierce, and Martha could only imagine that word had spread - and the lack of patients had made Martha start to wonder if they'd get through this whole thing with everyone being all right. It was amazing that she still had some optimism left in her, but there it was.

"What happened?" Martha asked as she went over to them, focusing on checking the unconscious one for injuries first.

The hair on the back of Arthur's head was matted by blood right now. The cut was relatively shallow, but it was enough to keep him under for a while.

The rest of him was covered in equal cuts, and something that might have gotten close to being a broken bone in his arm.

He was also rather heavy and unconscious. Poor Merlin.

"He had his head bashed by one of the zombies," Merlin said, eyes going gold in order to not fall over.

He was bloody heavy.

Martha was too busy checking Arthur over to notice the gold eyes, but she did notice Merlin was the only one holding him up. "Here, let me help you," she said, carefully guiding the two of them into an exam room (http://community.livejournal.com/fandom_clinic/555567.html?thread=11431471#t11431471).
