FTEC, Thursday March 12

Simon has expected there to be at least a few patients considering the harpy attacks yesterday, but the clinic was quiet as usual. He made himself a pot of tea and sat down behind the desk and tried to ignore that the nurses seemed to be giggling behind his back.

[Open and OCD-free!]

Deciding she definitely did not like the look her claw scars had taken in the morning, Daisy made sure to take at least a little bit of time from her schedule today to go and have them more properly examined.

"Oh, hullo, Simon. How goes it?"

Smiling faintly back, Daisy shook her head. "Happy to," she said. "Just doing my job. You can return the favour to me by doing yours, though. It's looking like I didn't come out of the fray as unscathed as I originally thought."

"It's just a few scratches," said Daisy, following Simon, as if claw marks nearly half an inch thick could be considered scratches. "One got a good grip on my shoulder and another raked up my side a little. Unfortunately, we weren't exactly in the best," and by that she meant cleanest, "condition for contracting scars, and I think they might be a little infected." Which caused Daisy to frown a bit, because that was a little gross and sad, and proud battle wounds shouldn't get infected.

Daisy's already had the first few buttons of her uniform shirt undone as she slid onto the exam table, taking incredible care not to brush up against the slightly sore scratches as she shrugged it off. She'd put clean bandages on them just that morning, but they still stuck a bit as she went to unravel them, first the one around her waist, then the other, covering her left shoulder. She made faces at the deep red scars practically taking the whole of the areas. Harpies had rather large claws, and Daisy was fairly petite.

Daisy nodded a little, trying to keep her attention up and off the fact that her shoulder did not look so pretty at the moment. "That's what I figured."

Daisy tried not to wince too much at the wounds being cleaned, sucking in a bit of breath and trying to just let the pain slip under the radar of a faint, appreciative smile. "You don't suppose they'll get worse, do you?" she asked.

Daisy hoped her little snort of laughter didn't disturb anything Simon was doing. "That's putting it lightly. I took about nearly four showers when all was said and done."

"You know that I took about four showers?" Because, really, she had to say it.
