Martha was at the desk as usual, but instead of her typical business, she was looking through catalogs of furniture and decorations, trying to pick things for her new apartment. She wasn't sure exactly what she'd pick, but she knew it wouldn't be anything the nurses were pointing at as they looked over her shoulder.
