Igor had slept in this morning. There might have been some celebrating last night over getting his machine exactly right, which had meant morning had not been entirely welcome.
When he finally arrived in the clinic in the evening, he'd given up on the plan to replace his head, but he still shushed Scraps when the dog of many parts barked cheerfully.
