FTEC - Wednesday Day Shift

The clinic was open and the doctor was in!

[ooc: Sorry for lateness, was getting a cast put on.]

That Afternoon

Wyatt, holding Lana's hand, orbed into the lobby of the clinic. "Doctor Wilson?" Wyatt said anxiously. "We need your help."
Lana held onto his hand a little more tightly than she'd planned. Orbing still left her a little off balance.
Wilson looked up from where he was working on his journal article and frowned worriedly.

"What's wrong?"
"We need you to take some blood from Lana so I can go swap it for Isabel's before they figure out she's not human," Wyatt said, words tumbling out in a rush.
Lana nodded. "She was in an accident. You can take whatever you need of my blood."
"If she was in an accident, why isn't she here at the clinic?" Wilson asked, standing up and approaching the other two.
"Mainland," Wyatt said. "She was shopping -- she said she's okay but they drew some blood and once they take a look at it. . . ."
"They're going to know she's not..."
Lana shook her head. "Wyatt thought if we could replace the blood they drew with my blood..."
"Right, gotcha." Wilson said, looking grim but turning and heading back to one of the exam rooms to grab up a blood draw kit.

Returning, he waved Lana to sit down in the chair at the front desk.

"Roll up your sleeve, Lana. Wyatt you'll need to move quick with this sample once I have it drawn and prepped. You won't have long to make the replacement before it'll start to settle. Are you orbing back?"
Wyatt nodded. "I'll orb right to Alexandria," he said. "The vials in the hospital will be labeled with her name, right?"
"Maybe Dr. Wilson should take several different vials? To make sure you have enough?" She looked up at the doctor as she finished pushing up her sleeve. "I just want to make sure Wyatt has whatever he needs to be able to keep Isabel safe."
"Shouldn't need more than three samples, Lana." Wilson reassured her as he tied off on her arm and began to make the draws.

"Should be, last name at least and possibly room number and doctor name."
