The episode of Hearts 'n' Scapels with the demonic possession was playing in the front lobby. It might not have been in the best taste, but Christian couldn't help it after reading over the reports from the weekend. Demonic-induced coma? Demonic-induced massive hemorrhaging? Christian had been called a demon by more than one woman, but even after being in Fandom for so long he had a hard time believing in them. That punk kid who looked like him and who claimed to be a demon was probably just trying to impress his girlfriend. Boyfriend. Whichever.

Dean was starting to chafe at being in the clinic. He still felt mostly like crap but he could do that just as easily in his room. And there was a lot more to distract him from thinking about things that just made him feel worse.

So he was lying there, plotting, wondering if he had enough strength to sneak out and get himself back to the dorms without passing out.

As soon as he could get there, Sam was back in the clinic, carefully holding a bag from J,GOB. "Hey," he said, watching Dean from the doorway. "How are you feeling?"

"Well, you already had the crazy going for you, so that's just a few steps past it," Sam replied, trying to tease. "I brought you some food. I thought that might help."

Dean still wasn't that hungry -- a sure sign he still was way less than 100% -- but dragged up a smile for Sammy anyway. "Gotta be better than clinic food. Whatcha got?"

"Brownies and donuts," Sam said. "I wasn't sure what you'd want, or how hungry you'd be." If Dean wasn't hungry at all, Sam wasn't letting him leave the clinic, that was for sure.

Meg was back in the clinic after taking some time to feed and play with Hunter, shower and yes, get a little bit of sleep. She didn't have class today so she was there bright and early.

"Feeling better?" Meg asked when she came into the room.

After stopping at Pizza Planet and getting a job, Jen, who'd heard the radio the last couple of nights, thought she was a little bit overdue for a stop in on her 'big brother' in the clinic.

She'd never been great at the bedside manner thing, though.

"How are you doing?" she asked, lingering awkwardly in the doorway.

"Hey," Dean said, shaking off his dark thoughts enough to find a smile for her. "I'm healing. Trying to figure out if I'm up to sneaking out of here, actually."

Jen had done her share of sneaking out of sickbeds, so she couldn't exactly throw stones. And she'd also done her share of beating up on her friends while possessed, so . . .

"Other than that, how are you doing?"

"Like a demon tried to destroy pretty much everything I care about and then went all week whacker on me," Dean said. "But it'll get better."

That, she knew she couldn't exactly identify with, but on some level Jen wanted to think she understood. Frowning, she edged just inside the doorway and leaned against the wall. "Is there anything I can do?"

Since he'd missed out on visiting Dean yesterday, Peter made sure to peek into Exam One today. He checked to see if Dean was awake, not wanting to disturb him.

"You mean besides my Dad and best friend getting possessed by a demon, said best friend taking off, the demon weed whacking me and my brother being convinced that it's all his fault?" Dean gave a small smirk. "Everything's peachy."

Karal came by before class, moving quietly and carefully so as not to disturb Dean if he was dozing, and settled in a chair near his bed.
