FTEC, Tuesday, January 22 - Evening Shift

Wyatt was bummed to be missing Bridge's party. But, well, at least here there was less of a chance of any awkward encounters here at the clinic.

Isabel wasn't bouncing. But she might have been vibrating just a bit. "Hi!" she said as she came through the door. "It was a fun party and I'm really sorry you missed it but I brought you moon pies to make up for it and I'll stay and keep you company if you'd like!"

Wyatt stared at his vibrating girlfriend. "You're rather hyper," he said, grinning.

"There were Moon Pies. Lots of them. And they're really, really good when doused in Tabasco." Isabel held out a plate. "I brought you some. But without the tabasco. I wouldn't do that to you."

"How many did you have?" Wyatt said, amused. He took a Moon Pie off the plate, made sure she hadn't hyperly forgotten to leave off the tabasco sauce, and took a bite.

Wyatt gave Isabel a chocolate-flavored smooch. "I'll have to thank him," he said. "So long as you don't have a sugar hangover tomorrow morning."

Isabel collapsed into giggles. "Now I'm picturing lion clothes. It's pretty. Very pretty. But aren't you supposed to be here for a while longer? I can just go back and wait for you. It'll give me time to find my cheetah print loincloth."

Wyatt glanced down at his shoulder, then glanced up at the clock on the wall. "Counting the minutes," he murmured.

Isabel kissed him once more with great enthusiasm then headed towards the door. If she stayed, there was a chance they'd wind up seeing exactly how private those exam rooms were.
