Carefully, slowly, she pulled over a stool so she could work with Brooke's ankle and find out what might be wrong. It wasn't an easy task for her, but she was taking quiet note of how Brooke's patience was before having a seat.

Very carefully, but surprisingly well for doing it with just one hand, Adah removed the strappy type shoe on the supposedly offending foot. With shoes like this, maybe there might be something to this sprain thing, although Adah was already noticing a lack of swelling. "Think you can hold your leg solid for me?" she asked. "It shouldn't be hard if it's just your ankle, and my right hand is not very good."
