FTEC, Tuesday, October 9 - Evening Shift

Wyatt opened up the clinic for the evening, still troubled by what he had heard on the radio last night. Yay? Ooops?

"The exam rooms are pretty private," Wyatt said, enjoying the sorta hug as he glanced over her shoulder and down the hallway.

And that would be Isabel pulling away just a bit. "I'm sure they are. But here's the thing? You remember cautious no memory me? That's still me. I hope that's not going to be a problem."

Wyatt frowned a little. "I'm sorry," he said. "I was just teasing. I don't want to pressure you or anything."

"I figured," she nodded. "But I also figured you had a right to know."

Stepping closer, Isabel brushed a kiss over his cheek. "Besides, slow has benefits. Anticipation for one," she whispered.

Wyatt made a happy sigh. "I can do slow," he said, sliding his arms around her waist.

Isabel ran her hands up his arms, showing no sign of moving any time soon. "Thank you."

Tipping her head up, she smiled. "So, if I kissed you right now? Would that count as a first or second kiss?"

Part of Wyatt figured he had to be dreaming this, but the feel of her lips moving under his was so real. He pulled her close, rubbing one hand up and down her back.

If it was a dream then Isabel didn't want to wake up any time soon. "Nice," she murmured, nipping lightly at his lip.

Isabel leaned into his hand. "That's the best part. I kept waiting for the usual weekend denial to kick in. And it didn't. I couldn't stop thinking about you."
