FTEC: Friday Evening

Katara was completely bummed about missing the dance tonight.  Not that she'd had anyone to go with so it wasn't even really a big deal, but still!  Getting dressed up and dancing and music. 

She hopped onto her seat at the front desk with a magazine and piece of paper that she was thinking about turning into a letter to Molly and decided to mope.  Because she could.  Darnit.

Haku had never gone to a dance before, so he didn't know what he was missing. He did however find out that his friend Katara was working that night, and might have been missing out on something.

He knocked lightly on the frame as he looked into the clinic. "Katara?"

"Awww, that's so sweet of you, Haku," Katara said. "I'm just hoping the party doesn't end with people getting hurt and needing the clinic."

"Good! Well, I wish I was at the dance, but I got to go to LA last week and missed my shift here so I am not complaining really."

"LA? That's... on the west coast right?" Haku asked trying to recollect though his vague knowledge of this world's big cities. "Did you have fun?"

"Yes! We visited Molly," she said. "And saw all over the city, and went to a dance club and played in the ocean over there. It was fabulous."

"I think I met Molly briefly, but it sounds like a lot of fun! Wait, they have clubs for dancing?" His culture book hand't been that in depth.
