FTEC - Saturday Evening Shift 7/14

By means of angelic transport, Wilson had made it down to the clinic unmolested by any prehistoric lizard types.

However, given the sounds he could hear beyond the clinic's walls, he had a feeling that there might not be others who were so lucky. Quickly, he rounded up the clinic nurse and snagged the day shift nurse before she could escape and offered her time and a half to stay for a double shift, he had a feeling they might need the extra hands.

Once this was settled, he and the two nurses began to clean out a couple extra rooms, making sure they could reach stock quickly, if they needed to and Wilson spent a couple of hours mapping out just how he was going to explain the time and a half to Troy if this all turned out to be a big ole false alarm.

There was a sharp, resounding crack as the air that had occupied a given space was forced out to make room for something new: Ronan, kneeling on the floor beside River. Ronan tried to stand up, but lost his balance as his vision wavered, exhausted from using two transports in quick succession on reduced power; he fell back to the ground, landing on his arse.

After his encounter with the triceratops in the park Andros had gone back to his room and tried to ignore his pain. Eventually he gave up and slowly made his way to the clinic.

He half stumbled into the clinic, carefully holding his wrist in an attempt not to move it to much. "Hello?"

Isabel managed to keep fairly calm as she half dragged, half TK'd Peter to the clinic after his encounter with the dinos in the park (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/1871437.html?thread=86098253#t86098253).

"Can we can get some help please?" she called out as soon as they were in the door.

Like a moron, Katara had spent more of her day waterbending on the far side of the island and hadn't even noticed the fighting until she headed back towards the dorms.

She tumbled into the clinic, figuring she could help more people this way than fighting against giant creatures without a lot of water.

A very large black oval appeared before the front desk, purple and blue ripples lazily pulling inwards, heavy black smoke rising from the edges.

After several seconds, a pale blonde girl stepped through, nodding quickly to Wilson as a darker-haired girl followed behind.

"My apologies for the dramatic entrance," Naminé said calmly, holding a palm out to flick the portal closed once more.

Gavin wandered in sometime during the day, one hand over his left eye. Stupid rocks and stupid huge animal thing and stupid losing his breakfast to the large animal thing.

"I think I might need a bandage," he said to no one in particular.

Carrying an over sized dinosaur wrestling idiot of a boyfriend, Teddy tried very hard to keep from having the same panicky reaction as last time he had to bring Chad here.

He still had that armor of his on, that was a good thing, right? That meant he wasn't too terribly injured. Right? Teddy was so going to have a talk with Chad about the armor and the damn fighting of DINOSAURS.

Shouldering open the room, Wilson carried River over to the bed and carefully set her down.

"Sorry about this," he said in a quiet tone as he pulled out his penlight so as to check her eyes.

Ronan ushered Billy into the exam room, and directed him to the bed. "Let me take a look at your back," he said, carefully lifting up the other boy's shirt.

Waiting Room

There isn't a waiting room per say, just the area around the front desk but there are chairs and a coffee pot if people wanted to sit while waiting for news and talk to other people waiting about their experiences.

[ooc: Please try to use this thread rather than the front desk for your waiting/worrying or overnight spending needs. :)]

1. If as you come in, you could ping down here with your exact injuries and whether or not you're keeping your character here overnight, that would be much love and would help out not only myself but dear Doogie tomorrow.

2. Tried something a little different this time and added the 'waiting room' for people to mix and mingle. It's basically the front desk area, just without all the traffic of arrivals.

3. If you need to get info to me ASAP, my AIM is FHJamesWilson and my e-mail is Seregill@aol.com. I'll be a little erratic the start of the night due to small people but will have an eye on things.
