FTEC - Monday Day Shift 7/2
Wilson stretched a little as he headed into the clinic that morning. Despite angelic intervention there had still been three fairly large man shaped beings in the back seat of a sports car. There were a few remaining muscle kinks.
Taking a moment to speak briefly with the nurse, Wilson caught himself up on the happenings over the weekend and then settled down at the front desk with the weekend's worth of mail to sort through.

A Phone Call - NFB
Grabbing it off his hip, he peered at it curiously, since it was rare for him to get a call across the cell when at work but as he saw the name associated with the number, his face lit up and he quickly answered it.
"Hello there!"

"That's fine, Marie. You know we'll love to see you whenever you can get back into town. Have you had a good summer so far?"

"I'm sorry to hear that, Marie. How are you doing?" He said softly, gently opening the door with an unspoken I'll listen, if you want to talk in his tone.

Rogue stopped talking before the words and it was my fault spilled out.

"If you knew her pretty well, I have to imagine she was a fairly special person, especially to give her life to save others."

"What happened."
He didn't make the automatic, patronizing noises but instead, gave Marie the chance to explain what happened and why she felt it was her fault.
The Angel's Corner
The clinic shift did last through the day, however. And that meant that around noontime, a certain angel walked through the door carrying a certain doctor's lunch.
