FTEC - Thursday Day Shift 6/28
Early Thursday morning, after a much appreciated spot of tea, Wilson made his way from the Nest back to Minotaur Lane.
Yes, he was wearing the same clothes as the night before but it was not a walk of shame because there was a definite bounce in his step.
Anywho, after shower and changing he headed back down in to town to get the clinic opened up for the day. He might have also laid a bit of Phale bait along the way because he had one more angel to secure for his nefarious plan. Hence why there was a thermos of tea and the angel's usual chair pulled over to the desk waiting for him.

The Angel's Corner
Aziraphale walked into the clinic with a bright smile on his face, pleased at once to see the cheer in the young doctor's expression. He chuckled at the thermos of tea, and poured himself a cup before sitting down in his designated chair.
"Good morning, love. Did you have a pleasant evening?"
Re: The Angel's Corner
"Are you asking me to kiss and tell, love?"
Re: The Angel's Corner
"You're staying home with me tonight, I hope? Or I may have to go and challenge Lucifer, and that would be all kinds of complicated."
Re: The Angel's Corner
There was no question that he'd be staying home with the Guardian tonight but he had to tweak Phale's tail when he could.
Re: The Angel's Corner
Aziraphale's eyes were bright with laughter, and he didn't mind the tweaking one bit.
"After all, what do you think caused half the problem at the Beginning, except that some didn't like the idea of sharing things with their little brothers?"
Re: The Angel's Corner
"So, do you think you could bring yourself to share the car with Lucifer this weekend?"
Re: The Angel's Corner
The angel perked up visible, if that was possible, and his eyes brightened into a look of even greater mischief. "Love, you know I'm always pleased to share the car. Will you be joining us, or is this an Angels Only venture?"
Why yes, he was deliberately misunderstanding Wilson's point. Probably.
Re: The Angel's Corner
"Someone is cruising for a little bit of a lesson if he doesn't behave himself," he said softly, dark eyes promising all sorts of wicked, sensual mischief.
"I will be joining you. Three of us on a road trip this weekend. I've already talked to Lucifer and he's game so what do you say, you in?"
Re: The Angel's Corner
The angel practically bounced in his seat. "James love, I think that's a wonderful idea! We haven't taken a road trip in ages! Have you picked out a place to go yet? Of course you have, that's what you've been working on, isn't it? And you're going to keep it a secret, I'm certain. When do we leave?"
Yes, Aziraphale was in fact ready to go and pack that very minute.
[ooc: I do not have an icon that adequately expresses the bouncy joy of the angel at this moment. *g*]
Re: The Angel's Corner
"Do I just not get you out enough? We'll leave tomorrow morning."
Re: The Angel's Corner
He grinned broadly, and was already making mental plans for what they should pack. "You let me take care of the packing, and I do promise not to bring along every bit of my wardrobe. We'll be returning on Sunday, I suppose?"
Re: The Angel's Corner
"Yes, back by Sunday since I'll have to be at work on Monday. I'm already swapping out my Saturday shift for this trip, can't take too many days off."
Re: The Angel's Corner
Like a tux, or swim trunks, or a winter parka.
Re: The Angel's Corner
"Now, stop fishing and just settle in to enjoy the ride."
Re: The Angel's Corner
"As you wish, love. I promise, no more prying questions. Our trips are always a great deal of fun anyway, when you plan them."
Impulsively, he leaned forward and kissed Wilson's cheek. "What made you decide on an excursion this weekend?"
Re: The Angel's Corner
"As I told Lucifer, our last group outing was ... stressful shall we say? I thought it might be good to try to move forward from all of that with a fun memory."
Re: The Angel's Corner
"I think that's a fine plan, James," he said softly. "And I'll be willing to bet Lucifer doesn't get the opportunity to make too many good memories."
Re: The Angel's Corner
Then, because it wouldn't do to become too melancholy, he grinned and leaned forward to kiss Phale smartly.
"Well, I think we might have worked on some good one's last night."
He knew there was a blush hiding there, somewhere!
Re: The Angel's Corner
"Some good ones for you as well, I hope," he teased gently. "We're a strange trio. But I think we're good for each other too."
Re: The Angel's Corner
"I'm not entirely certain what to think but I agree, I think we bring each other something we all need. Even if we're not aware of what it is that is needed."
He laughed softly and reached to pinch Aziraphale's nose.
"Though you realize that if you breath a word of that to Lucifer he'll deny it, just to be stubborn, right?"
Re: The Angel's Corner
He ducked around Wilson's hand to steal another kiss. "And so do you."
