After speaking to Master Skywalker about Katara, Christian was satisfied that she could handle a clinic shift or two. He'd have to call her later today to set up what times she could come in. One more doctor or healer would make his life easier.

A very flail-y Buster came in with Warren. It'd be hard not to notice that Buster's hook was embedded in Warren's shoulder (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/1423347.html?thread=86433523#t86433523)

"I KILLED MY TA!" Buster shouted as he entered the clinic.

Christian stood up, took note of said hook and said TA, who was clearly not dead, and said, "Whoa, calm down, stop flailing!"

"I'm a monster!" Buster sobbed. He did stop flailing a little. "All I wanted was a hug."

"Okay," Christian said, giving Buster a wary eye as he headed over to them. He took a quick look at the hook in Warren's flesh. "Right. Can you let go of him?"

Warren was pretty much stuck in "ow" mode after getting dragged to the clinic with a hook in his shoulder. "Make him stop pulling!"

Buster ignored Warren and tugged again in hopes of pulling the hook out. There was a faint popping noise and Buster was detached. From his hook.

"Oh, thank god." he said, lifting up his stump for Christian to see.

Christian led Warren into the exam room and put on a pair of gloves. "Let me take a look at that," he said. "How much does it hurt?"

"A lot!" Warren was near flail level, himself. "Is my arm going to fall off?!"

"No, your arm isn't going to fall off," Christian said, rolling his eyes. He inspected the imbedded hook. "You're going to need a few stitches, though. When was your last tetanus shot?"

"Um. . . ." Warren frowned, thinking. "I don't know if I've had one?"

"Then we should probably give you one, just in case," Christian said. "Okay, it doesn't look like the hook hit anything vital." He got a piece of gauze to staunch the flow of blood and carefully eased the hook out, then tossed it over by the sink.

"How long did it take you to come to that conclusion?" Christian said wryly, giving Warren a shot to numb the skin so he could begin to stitch him up.

Billy hadn't come to see Dr. Keyworth for awhile, which, considering recent events, needed to be remedied.
