FTEC Wednesday Day Shift 6/6

Wilson was definitely covering up a yawn as he made his way back into the clinic. While it would have been nice to say he'd been up late canoodling with the mate or the Advesary, he'd actually been up late putting together a surprise for the mate ... and the Advesary if he happened to be in a position for a surprise.

In the meantime, Wilson checked with the on duty nurse, pleased to find no patients and after that brief conversation he settled in with his laptop to do a bit of consulting work for a friend.

Aziraphale wasn't necessarily interested in interrupting Wilson's work, but he did come by with tea and coffee cake to share. And his copy of Lady Windermere's Fan, that he didn't get to finish the previous night.

With a kiss on the cheek for the young doctor, he set the man up with a snack, and settled into his usual corner.

Hey, look. Chad finally remembered. Although quite soon after walking through the door of the clinic, he was about ready to turn back around and go to the library to do some research to prove that stitches didn't really need to be removed...

"Hey."

"Uh, yeah," Chad rubbed the back of his neck a little. "Came in to see if the stitches were ready to come out?" And thus ending Teddy constantly poking at him about it.

Hey, if it was up to Chad, he wouldn't ever be in here again. However, he had a very convincing and rational-minded boyfriend.

Chad sat on the exam table and started unbuttoning his shirt. "This won't take long, right?" Behind his curtain of hair, his eyes were already starting to go toward the window. They were just stitches, he reminded himself....

Chad finished unbuttoning the shirt and pulled it off so the sitches along his ride side in front were easily accessible. "A little bit if I move weird, but it's been pretty good." Certainly no more poking at it anymore, which was sad.

"There's the ones in the back, too," Chad said, twisting.

Chad took a second, as though even he wasn't sure where all his stitches were. "Nope; that's it."

"Thanks, Doc."

Chad was so out of that door before he'd even bothered buttoning his shirt back up.

And, yes, he used the door this time.
