With so many patients coming in, Doogie figured it would be a nice idea to come in and help Dr. Lambert. He checked on the patients who were still around, before going to man the desk while he waited for Natalie to arrive.

Bel could out-stubborn them both. He was on Anders's side pretty much, anyway, so staying in bed won out. Tomorrow he'd see about bringing them back to the cabins.

Fortunately for the guys, the nurses on duty had figured out how often the pain meds wore off and were always on hand to administer more so that Phoebe would rest... and maybe not cause too much trouble.

After the nurse left, Phoebe looked at Cole. "How long do we have to stay here?"

Conner came in later in the evening to take up watch at her bedside again, after rounding people up for the big event. The medications were all well and good, but he wasn't taking any chances.

"You awake?"

"Hello! Help, someone!" Dawn called loudly as soon as she opened the door. "We've got an unconscious person here and he needs to be conscious and you should fix him now, thanks!"

"Oh, no you don't," Anders said firmly, and tried to get a decent grip on her clothing -- which, given that this was a hospital gown, was probably a lot less than effective.

Doogie looked up, thankful to see someone apparently uninjured. "Hi. Are you Dr. Lambert?" he asked.

Buffy followed carrying Dean as best she could. The weight wasn't a problem, but his size kind of was. She was doing pretty well though. "I don't think you need to yell, Dawn," she said, wincing.

Gwynn took his hand quite happily. "I don't feel anything right now," she said in puzzlement. "The people that work here keep putting things into that bag and then I start feeling like I'm floating in the water again."

"I am," she replied, putting her laptop case on the front desk as she removed her jacket. "You're one of the clinic aides?"

"Neither of you are getting up," Bel said sternly. "And locking door or not, nothing but snuggling until you're better." His voice was firm, but inwardly he was sulking about it.
