He held out his hand, looking humbled, "No, really, I was just there at the right time and I'm only sorry I was not around earlier. I wish I could have prevented your injury altogether..." And that was one thing that had bothered him; that he was not around from the beginning, to prevent her from getting hurt at all.

"Are you feeling better? The doctor at the front desk said you suffered a concussion."

"I'm a little better," Lana said. "I'm lucky that's all that happened - just the concussion. And really, there's no way you could have known anything was going to happen. I'm just so grateful that for whatever reason you were there."

"Me too," he said softly, nodding. "I won't keep you, I know you need your rest. Just take care and...I know you are in good hands here." He nodded again and stepped back. "I'm sorry we had to meet under these circumstances, Lana."

Johnny smiled, "You're welcome. Just concentrate on getting better and getting out of here, and I'm sure we'll run into each other soon. See ya later, Lana." Stepping from the room, he closed the door quietly, feeling better knowing that she would be all right.
