The pile of rubble surrounding the school was slowly being sifted through, and the standing remains were finally beginning to peek through, up on the hill. As she entered the clinic, Natalie couldn't help but wonder if her life would ever take her somewhere...normal. Or as normal as it gets for a vampire, she thought with a smirk.
Powering up her laptop, she settled in at the front desk for a quick check of her e-mail before heading back to the lab. There was new equipment to be set up.
