"No, just heading to Russian in three weeks." Parker frowned. "Are you sick? Should you be here?" She reached over to scratch the reading cat, and tried to read over his shoulder.
"Ahhh." Parker winced, although she looked a little amused. "I was celebrating Finals and classes being over last night. Same with you?" She hummed a little as Faithful purred. "And did you meet Alternate Aly yesterday?"
"You broke up? Ouch." Now her glance was wholly sympathetic. "I'm sorry. If you want ice cream, or more alcohol, you know where I am." She shrugged, still petting Faithful. "I ran into Aly-- well, who I thought was Aly-- at J,GOB yesterday. She didn't recognize me. And said only her family got to call her Alianne."
"Not sure. I didn't see any bite marks, but then, she was wearing a formal gown with her hair up. And didn't seem like she'd take it well if I'd asked." Parker shrugged. "My vote is for Fandom wacky, but I didn't run into the real Aly yesterday, so I could be wrong."
"Shots. But I'll get one of the nurses to give them to me-- you sit here and recover," Parker said, giving Faithful one last scratch before heading for the door. "Come find me if you want to talk about Kawalsky. I owe you one."
"I'll help you find a baby grand." Parker reached over and gave her a quick squeeze on the shoulder. "What you do with it after that is between you and the cat."
Jaye might still be singing that stupid 'when birds suddenly appear' song. There will be a lion that is getting itself fried later on. But for now, she comes to the clinic with a box of chocolates. Because she's kind of had a breakup or two, and also, this way maybe Alanna won't kill her and leave intestines all over the clinic.
"Yeah, I figured," Jaye says, ready to do the deformed rabbit if she has to. "So I talked to whathisname yesterday. He seemed really torn up about everything."
Just in case the name incurs wrath. She doesn't wanna incur wrath.
"You know, the guy that the whole breakup thing happened with?" she asks. Maybe Alanna drank the memory away. In which case, Jaye would need to hang with Alanna more.
