Alanna hadn't shown up for her shift again, and Dr. Troy was unavailable, so the nurse was running the show today. Fortunately, it seemed to be a quiet day.

Billy came in and slipped one of the cd's he'd bought Ami into the cd player. The strains of music from one of Miyazaki's films, over laid upon the sounds of the ocean began to play. He hoped she liked it.
