FTEC - Wednesday Day Shift [1/31]

It was Wednesday morning, which meant clinic time for Wilson. Checking in with the duty nurse and confirming there were no occupants in the clinic, Wilson grinned at Aziraphale as the angel settled into his habitual chair. Getting coffee started, the young doctor set up his laptop on the front desk and set about putting the finishing touches on their trip up north.

"And it's been a busy semester so far." Wilson said a little ruefully.

"So, what brought you down here today, Yuki?" He bit back any questions that might lead in one direction or another, simply trying to prompt without pushing.

"I was going to move into a house by myself here just to get a chance to write in peace. I'm a professional author in Japan, and I really needed a break from the publicity. So, like I said. I got a house and the writing teacher job. I got to the house and there was some sort of a paperwork slip and I ended up having to share the house with another teacher. Wade Wilson, or Deadpool. You might know him, you're lucky if you don't I suppose." He's twirling a cigarette between his fingers in his coat pocket. "He seems to enjoy irrating people. He's not awful but it really doesn't help my stress. And rescently he picked up some freeloading kid who works at that club. He's even more annoying than Wade. But at least he's more good looking. If you don't mind the honesty doc I've been mesing around with him but he asked for it. He keeps talking about how he can'ts stop thinking about me. I told him he couldn't write for shit, since he's some kind of "musician," and even since it's like he's obsessed."

Wilson sat and just let Yuki talk through it all, letting the other man put the issues that were upsetting him out in front of himself to look at them rather than holding them in.

"What about all this brought you here though?"

"Mm. I see a shrink at home any way. I figure with this added stress I should start seeing someone again. Since I can't quite figure out what my problems are I figure it's best to see someone whose job it is to figure them out."

"Well, I'm afraid as I told you, our on island therapist left at the beginning of the year." Wilson said.

"And unless you're a terminal cancer patient, I'm probably not the sort of psychological expert you would need. I can refer you to a clinic on the mainland?"

"Sure." He wishes problems could be solved with simpler solutions. Ugh.. such a hassle.
