Natalie arrived for shift to find that previous shifts had checked the supply inventories and straightened up a bit. She nodded, impressed, then slipped into her lab coat. Tonight, she planned on spending a little quality time with her blood samples and a new microscope Nick had appropriated for her. It had been an early Christmas present, one that she couldn't wait to try out.

She was, of course, totally interruptable if anyone needed medical attention.
