FTEC - Wednesday - DayShift
Though by all rights he should have been a bit bleery eyed as he headed in to work, he was actually quite chipper and whistling contentedly.
He was also wearing a turtleneck...as...uh...guys do sometimes.
*Coughitwasgoingtobealongfourdayscough*
Checking and finding the place devoid of patients, Wilson started a pot of coffee and then stretched out in the desk chair, feet up on the desk.
Just because he was chipper, didn't mean he wouldn't take the oppertunity to catch a few winks. Though if anyone came through the door, he'd be right with them!

A nap, that was broken next when Blair bounced through the door.
"Wha? Oh, hey there, Blair." Wilson said, indulging in a bone cracking stretch, before sliding his feet down to the ground and standing up.
"What can I do for you today?"
no subject
He waved his cast at Wilson and bounced again. "I'm pretty sure these things are taken off with a saw, man. Are you awake enough for that?"
no subject
"Luckily that is something I can do in my sleep but I promise, I'm awake." He winked.
"Besides, wouldn't you rather I nap now than behind the wheel later." It was a gentle tease and Wilson waved Blair up towards the exam table.

Moving right along now.
Picking up the necessary saw and cutters to take off the cast, Wilson walked back to the table and carefully shifted Blair's arm around till he had it in just the right spot.
"All righty..."
And with very little fuss, pomp or circumstance and in a shorter amount of time then when it was first put on, Wilson had the cast cut and off Blair's arm.
"Let me take a quick x-ray, just to make sure we're good and then we can talk about physio."
no subject
"Ugh. Are you sure an x-ray is necessary?" Blair looked carefully at his arm. "I'm not thinking that glowing in the dark is a good look for me."
no subject
Grabbing the portable x-ray machine, Wilson wheeled it over, then gave Blair the really heavy led blanket.
"Besides, who can turn down the change to play with the blanket that squashes you flat as a bug?"

The machine made quick work of the film and Wilson slapped it up on the light board, checking it over before nodding.
"Everything looks good. Now...physio."
Sitting down on the stool in front of the bed Wilson went through a regime for Blair to help the young man regain muscle strength and flexibility without risking soft tissue damage. There was even a little sheet and a small squishy pink ball to play with at the end of the lecture.
"So, any questions?"
no subject
"Um...not about physio, actually." Blair wasn't sure if puppy dog eyes were required, but he blinked hopefully up at Wilson. "How would you feel about River coming along for Thanksgiving?"
no subject
Not that Wilson would have said no.
Smiling warmly he nodded. "I think that would be wonderful, Blair. As long as she doesn't mind a sleeping bag on the floor?"
no subject
"Yes!" Blair bounced excitedly to give Wilson a hug. "River will be totally cool with a sleeping bag! This is so awesome, man. Thanks!"
no subject
"Believe me, this is our pleasure. Alright then, off with you. Go get packed and let River know and we'll see you down in the parking lot around 5:30-6:00ish to get on the road."

handwavyarrangements for a ferret-sitter, Aziraphale brewed up a pot of coffee and then headed down to the clinic. He gave Wilson a cheerful smile and a kiss on the cheek as he set the thermos on the man's desk, then pulled up his usual chair and settled in with a crossword.
