Everything was set; Elliot would be flying home early Wednesday for Carla and Turk's wedding.

Which was why, after checking on Walter, she spent most of the day quadruple-checking her packing list to make sure she hadn't forgotten to plan to pack anything.

"Pillow for the plane, strapless bra, backless bra, trashy novel, another trashy novel, serious book in case I get stuck on the plane next to someone I want to impress..."

Elliot spent some time looking over Walter's charts before going back to the desk. He seemed to be healing.

Nadia was still there with Walter, reading a random fantasy novel she'd found the other day and stuck in her school bag.

At least this week she didn't have to worry about classes while she stayed with Walter and made sure he got better.

"I haven't been close enough to formulate an opinion actually." Pippi mused. "But near as I can tell, you've been here for a few days and this isn't a dentist's office."

Nadia pulled a pre-pasted disposable toothbrush from sex ed that summer out of her bag. "Well, I only have one left, so I appreciate that."
