FTEC Saturday Evening [10/7]
After spending some time up at the school with Phale and the kids in detention, Wilson had headed home for a nap. Rolling out of bed an hour before his shift, he showered and ate a light lunch to hold him over till Phale brought dinner down later in the evening, then packed up his briefcase and headed down to the clinic.
It felt a little strange having to actually walk to the clinic instead of just stumbling down the stairs or stepping out into a hallway but, change was the nature of things.
Waving a one handed hello to the nurse as he settled in behind the counter, Wilson introduced himself and got a quick tour from her to show him where things were, new equipment, quirks of old equipment and what changes had been made. After that, he went back up to the front desk.
A pot of coffee was put on to brew, music was turned on to a jazzy insturmental station and Wilson settled in to the seat with a medical journal and a note pad.

Front Desk
Re: Front Desk - 9:00PM
poke Wilsonbring Wilson his dinner. Detention had been interesting, but mostly successful he thought, and he was looking forward to a nice quiet evening. Hopefully the clinic wouldn't be stormed by injured students on Wilson's very first night."Good evening, James love," he said cheerily, setting a sack full of styrofoam containers on the counter. "I went by that Chinese place, since if I'd actually cooked dinner you'd be getting eggs and toast and a cake."
Re: Front Desk - 9:00PM
"Hey there, Raphale. You know I love your eggs and toast, though they might not have transported well. Did you get extra curry?"
Wilson could smell that the angel had done so but he always liked to ask.
Re: Front Desk - 9:00PM
"Shall I fetch your computer?" he asked, as he bgan to unpack the food, handing the young doctor a thermos of green tea for him to pour.
Re: Front Desk - 9:00PM
"No, it's all right, lover. I just haven't taken so many notes by hand in a long time." And it should occure to him to wonder why he was doing so now but it didn't as he could smell yummy curry and eggs rolls.
"How did detention wind up?"
Re: Front Desk - 9:00PM
"I think it went rather well. Unfortunately
unless they ping in lateI had a few no-shows, so they'll have to serve next weekend with Mr Vader. And I think...I hope Belthazor got the chance to work out a little aggression."Re: Front Desk - 9:00PM
"Did I tell you I introduced myself to Lord Vader?"
Re: Front Desk - 9:00PM
"Did you really? And is he as horrifying as some of the students would have us believe? I really do need to get out and meet more of the other teachers."
Re: Front Desk - 9:00PM
"Hmm? No, I mean...I didn't find him horrifying, just really quiet and succient but I've only met him the one time, maybe having class with him is something all together different."
Wilson pursed his lips thoughtfully. "He had a cup of coffee but he couldn't drink it, just...was enjoying the smell."
Re: Front Desk - 9:00PM
Aziraphale nodded at the remark about the man being different in class. "I suspect that has a lot to do with it. That he's just an imposing sort of figure with a short temper. Students tend to exaggerate their feelings about a teacher when that teacher is doing something they don't like."
Maybe there was just a little bit of personal feeling in that statement.
Re: Front Desk - 9:00PM
Then he looked at his lover and reached over to touch the angel's hand.
"Raphale?"
Re: Front Desk - 9:00PM
The angel knew Wilson was having troubles with his own classes, and felt bad about piling more troubles on him. "Perhaps it really is just...a bad week. Emotions running high because of the anticipation over Homecoming and such."
Re: Front Desk - 9:00PM
Sighing softly his hand closed around Phale's wrist for a moment and he gave the angel a gentle smile.
"Dreams can be hard for these kids, Raphale. You know how it is for them. It's important that you be their teacher in class and you can reach out to them as a friend but you're right to keep the two seperate and trust me, they'll thank you for it."

Looking up he blinked.
"Wow... Angel wasn't kidding, you have gotten big!" Really, how many large black labs were seen running around Fandom at this hour. Scooting back from the desk, Wilson patted his knee to encourage Sean to him.
[ooc: Angel/Sean - Wilson - Phale good order?]

Hunting around in the leftovers, he put together a little plate of food. Nothing spicy, of course.

Angel came in behind him. "Yep, that's him. Told you he was big now."
[ooc: yep, order works for me!]

After getting his hand thoroughly cleaned by doggie tongue, Wilson gave Sean's ears a rub and looked up at the door.
"Good evening, Angel." He said cheerfully. "You're right, he's gotten huge."

"Good evening, my dear. Did you enjoy the Homecoming dance?"
no subject
Sean gave Phale a lick to say thank you, then tucked in to his dinner.
no subject
"Hmmm, very little? That seems to imply at least a bit of dancing?" He teased good naturedly.
no subject
"I expect it was a difficult job to avoid the dancing altogether," he agreed. "But it must have been nice to see all the familiar faces."

He wanted Angel to talk to Blair but he also wanted to talk to Angel about Blair afterwards, if there was time. The weekend was too short.

"I don't think I had realized that myself," he said to Angel. "Our returning here was unexpected, but turned out to be a blessing."
