Christian opened up the clinic and settled in behind the desk. He flipped on the TV and channel surfed. When he landed on "The View," he twitched for some reason.

After class and after he'd spoken with Lorne, Wilson found himself down in town by the clinic. He'd spent a lot of the previous night wrestling back and forth with himself and had finally decided to practice a little of what he preached.

I.E. the idea of faith and trust in how things work out.

So...here he was back home maybe? Well, it sure had changed, which was of the good.

Stepping on inside, he walked towards the front desk, smiling as he recognized the man who had patched him up last week.

"Good morning Dr. Troy."

Christian looked up. "Hey, how's the shoulder?"

"Aches and the sling is going to wreck havoc on the line of my tux coat this weekend but otherwise good."

Reaching up to rub at the back of his neck for a moment, Wilson lowered his hand and looked around.

"I was wondering, if you had all your shifts covered for this place or if you might have an opening or... maybe just need someone for emergency calls for the next time ooohh...jello dragons or snow monsters attack?"

Christian grinned as if Wilson was a dream come true. "As a matter of fact, we had two shifts open recently when the last guy in charge of this place left," he said. "Wednesday morning and Saturday night. You used to work here before, didn't you?"

He'd seen that look a few times in his life in various situations ranging from professional to personal.

Chuckling, Wilson nodded.

"Yes. Dr. James Wilson. My collegue, Dr. House sort of founded this...well not this but, anyway not important. I did used to work here, can get you all the necessary resume, document and stuff annnndd... most importantly, Wednesday Afternoons and Saturday nights work well for my schedule?"

"I think we still have all your info on file here," Christian said, "but you can just update it where necessary. As far as I'm concerned, you're hired, and since they put me in charge, that's all the authority you need. We could use the extra hands around here."

Translation: he didn't have to work the weekend anymore.

"Excellent." Wilson nodded. "When would you need me to start? Do you have a list of any new rules in place?"

"How's this Saturday?" Christian said. He dug through the desk and pulled out a handwavey print-out of clinic policies as well as a form to update Wilson's personal information.

Taking the paperwork, Wilson folded up the new material he had to read and tucked it into the sling, then he grabbed up a pen and quickly filled out the updated personal information form.

"This Saturday is fine. What's the exact length of the shifts?"

"Daytime shifts are usually about 8:00 to 5:00, and nighttime is 5:00 to 2:00 AM or so," Christian said. "But we don't clock in so if you're running late or leave early, no one will mind."

"Sounds resonable." Wilson agreed with a nod, sliding his updated personal information across the counter towards Troy.

"Anything else I need to know about?"

"You're already familiar with the clinic and the island, so nothing I can think of," Christian said. "Welcome back aboard." He reached out to shake Wilson's hand.
