Christian opened up the clinic and looked around. He wondered if he could butch up this place as much as his apartment in Miami. It really needed it.

The Doctor stepped into the clinic, a wide smile on his face.

"Hello, Doctor Troy," he said.

Christian looked up from his porn medical notes. "Hello," he said. "Here for your check-up?"

"That I am," the Doctor said."I was going to prepare a few notes for you, but I was a bit preoccupied of late."

The Doctor sat down and tugged at the collar of his leather jacket.

"How much of this do you want off?"

"Just the top half," Christian said. "Then we'll take your height and weight and blood pressure first."

The Doctor removed his jacket and jumper, obligingly.

"I hope you warm up your instruments," he joked.

"I've been called a sadist before," Christian said, grinning. "Keeping them in the freezer would fit that." He had the Doctor stand on the scale and took note of his height and weight.

"Oh, that is cruel, that," the Doctor said with a chuckle. "Is that really my weight? Must be the lack of running from monsters lately. Not enough exercise."

"This place needs a health club," Christian said. "I have to go to the mainland to find a decent one." He began to wrap a blood pressure cuff around the Doctor's arm. "Do you know what your normal blood pressure with two hearts is?" he asked as he started to pump.

The Doctor handwavily told Christian. "You're taking this in stride rather well, actually," he added.

"I've seen a lot of weird shit around here," Christian said. "Two hearts? That's nothing." He recorded the Doctor's blood pressure. "Blood pressure looks fine."

He put on his stethoscope and look at the Doctor. "Now you really get to see if I keep it warm or cold," he said, moving closer and placing it on the Doctor's chest.

"Oh dear," the Doctor said. "Well, sadist it is. Though you're going to be very confused listening between the two hearts."

"I'll have to see if I can come up with a new kind of stethoscope," Christian said, moving his hand around the Doctor's chest. "You're right, it's hard to tell them apart." He moved the stethoscope to the Doctor's back to listen as well. "Take a deep breath and let it out slowly," he said.

The Doctor did as instructed. "It's easier if you position directly over each heart, actually. You might try contacting a Doctor Harry Sullivan over in England somewhere. Might give you a few tips."

"He's got some hands on experience with dealing with your physiology?"

"Known me for quite awhile," the Doctor said. "Well, a different me, mainly, but the principles still apply."

"A different you?" Christian said curiously. "What do you mean?"

Christian finished running his tests and jotted down some notes. "That's it," he said, "unless you want a more complex examination. These are just the basics."
