FTEC, Tuesday Night

After a few days off, Natalie returned to work feeling more relaxed. She peeked in on Jamie, then settled in at the front desk with her laptop and the wireless internet connection.

Natalie checked on the formerly comatose mutant, and made notes on his chart. She would check back on him again later in her shift.

Bored.

"BORED!" Jamie shouts out. "BORED! BORED! BORED! BORED! BORED! BORED! BORED!"

"I'm BORED!"

I know! I'll become a superhero!

"Can I go home now?!"

After a few minutes without a response Jamie yells out again:

"HELLO! I'M BORED! CAN I GO HOME NOW?!"

Natalie, having ducked into the lab for a few minutes, rushed into the room, lab coat billowing, gloves still on her hands. "Wha...?"

"Considering you were comatose just yesterday?" Natalie eyed him warily.

"It wasn't a real coma," Jamie replied with a little eye roll. "It was just caused by kissing a mutant. That happens all the time."

Pulling her gloves off and dropping them into the trash, Nat leaned against the counter and folded her arms across her chest. She didn't look impressed. "And I'm Queen Elizabeth."

Grimacing, Natalie grabbed his latest chart information, flipping through it. She then moved to check his pulse, as well as check his reflexes. She was basically satisfied with the results. She noted such on his charts. "Release, yes. You should restrict your activities a little bit for at least twenty four hours."

Her expression made it very clear that she was reluctant to release him.

"Restrict what activities exactly?" Jamie asked getting up slowly. "I have a marathon tomorrow. Is that out?"
