Trevor was exceptionally glad to have his voice back after the weekend, and was happy to see that the clinic was relatively empty after everything he'd heard had gone on. Switching the television station away from anything soap-related, he started flipping through the channels to see what else might be on.

Jamie was still in the Exam room playing around on the laptop that Willow had hooked up to the network.

Kawalsky stopped by to visit Jamie. "I come bearing completely healthy snacks and completely legal DVDs."

He was actually carrying a bag of cookies and some movies he'd downloaded off the internet.

"Skipper!" Jame exclaimed and then grabbing the cookies. "Thank God. Food. The Jello sucks here and tastes vaguely of corn dogs. What movies did you bring?"

"You mean out of the dorm? I opened up a *handwave* window on the second floor by the stair case and jumped onto a *handwave* tree limb," Jamie said with a small shrug.

"And that worked out well for ya?" He pointed at the machines that go 'ping' around the place. "So I hear they had scalpels. Get cut up? Got any decent scars from the whole 'we want your heart' experience?"

Jamie lifted up his shirt and showed off the line of stitches down his chest. "Yeah, I think I made a mistake going out that night. The scar will be pretty cool though."

"If you're alive and you get a cool scar, then it's worth it. Just don't do it again or I'll kick your ass. You've gotta get through Freshman year or there won't be anyone around to lead the Stickbugs when the rest of us are gone."

"Hey... I had my reasons for doing it!" Jamie said defensively. "And I always keep a spare version of me lying around as a back up anyway."

"Yeah, I know. This is about as schmoopy as I get, so take it for what it is and.. I'm stealing a cookie." He grabbed the bag and took a cookie. "When do you get out?"

"Hopefully tomorrow if I'm strong enough," Jamie said. "Though I may stage a break out if they don't let me."
