FTEC, Sunday night

Tommy stood in the doorway of the clinic and kept his eye out for trouble. Supposedly things got bad when the sun went down which - hey - not surprising. 'course the clinic had those three hot chicks wave their arms and chant or whatever it was they did (Tommy mostly paid attention to their outfits) so in theory nobody could get hurt while they were inside.

Good for the patients, mildly frustrating for Tommy and his temper.

[ooc: wait for OCD OCD is up. Check into the lobby thread when arriving. Incoming patients may be taken care of by Tommy or the nurse, who is being modded by the oh so awesome V tonight. Give her love and cookies.]

[ETA: All clinic players are now abed. Anybody coming in now can feel free to mod the nurse in Exam 4]

Jarod walked slowly into the lobby, holding his shirt, already saturated with blood, against a cut on the left side of his head.

He practically fell into one of the chairs.

Tommy instinctively grabbed a pair of gloves as soon as he saw the kid. For the record, he was also WAY over his quota of kids coming into his clinic with blood on them.

But first things first. He came over to Jared and tried to look him in the eye to see if the kid was coherent enough to pay any attention.

Jarod blinked up at him, but knew enough not to lighten the pressure on his cut.

"Pen?" He mouthed.

Late that night, Becky hobbled into the clinic with a trooper gripping her arm. She brushed him off, and after a moment, he went along on his way.

This, however, was probably not nearly as notable as two other things:

1. Becky was gripping her stomach and looking pained, and there was already a bright, contrasting red stain spreading across her shirt, and

2. She was swearing profusely. Yes, out loud.

"What the Hell?" Tommy would've mouthed it, except hey that made noise too. He blinked and said "What the Hell?" again, since it felt appropriate.

"Broke the box. Voices back. Stupid guy made me come," Becky said, grimacing a little. "It's so not a big deal."

Jarod carefully took a seat on the examination table, wincing as he pulled the shirt back from his forehead and automatically tilting his head back to keep the blood out of his eyes.

Tommy got a clean cloth and applied pressure to the wound to try to stop the bleeding. He motioned for Jarod to help hold the cloth in place so Tommy could free up a hand.

Jamie Madrox was still in his bed, recovering from his injuries.

Jamie was also wondering why the hell the clinic doesn't have cable and when the next round of pain medication might be coming by.

He also had a very strange craving for pudding.

Becky rolled her eyes. "Cute. Killed guys who took the voices. They got me with a knife," she said, reeling a little as she entered the room. "But I'm toooootally fine."

Jarod's got a head wound from mid-left eyebrow across to his hairline. Pretty deep, made by a sharp scalpel. Will probably need stitches, but whether he needs blood is up to you guys.
