FTEC, Monday Evening, July 3
Trevor settled in behind the front desk and tried to find something on the television that would hold his interest for more than a minute. So far, he wasn't having much luck.

Exam Rooms
Re: Exam Rooms
Today's stay in the clinic had been less awful than yesterday's thanks to the books Walter had brought her. The fact that her nose hadn't started to bleed every fifteen minutes or so probably helped with that too.
The science fiction he'd brought her had been quite good, actually, and Satan Wore Gucci had been surprisingly entertaining, though she hadn't finished it in one go the way she had the book about the Space Cowboys. The Bodice Ripper...was not to be spoken of.
Now, Seras was focussing on the crossword puzzle.

"Come in!"
Re: Exam Rooms
Re: Exam Rooms
"Here I am," she agreed.
Re: Exam Rooms
"I brought you some caramels." she said holding them out.
Re: Exam Rooms
"Thanks," she said and patted the bed as an invitation to sit.
"How're you doing?"
Re: Exam Rooms
Re: Exam Rooms
"My neck still aches, but my head doesn't hurt as much. And the nosebleeds seem to have stopped."
Re: Exam Rooms
Re: Exam Rooms
She opened the bag of caramels and offered it to Pippi.
"Did you see who carted me back here, by the way? I don't remember anything after...after the ghost."
Re: Exam Rooms
Pippi certainly hoped Seras didn't have to have the same treatment as Joxer, poor fellow. Or if so that she was still unconscious when they did it.
"How are they treating ya here? ... Just your neck hurts then? Oh, I also brought you dinner, but I usually start with caramels myself."
Re: Exam Rooms
"Anders? I don't think I've met him. I ought to find him and say thanks, though," she said, looking a bit down cast at the pathetic showing on her part, "My neck's still pretty sore, and I'm kinda dizzy, yeah. My headache's gotten better though, and no more nose bleeds."

Re: Exam Rooms
She sighed
"And, for as long as I've been at Fandom, I've heard people going on about how we all look our for one another. I did a really crap job of that yesterday."

"Ooh...Jampong (http://static.flickr.com/41/123430659_1d29c1875a.jpg?v=0)!" she said happily, sniffing the spicy soup.
"Want some?"

Re: Exam Rooms
Then, she dished them both out portions of the soup and some rice as well.
"Now, this is what I call appropriate," she said, managing a fairly evil grin as she held up a well-cooked, squiddy tentacle between her chopsticks.
Re: Exam Rooms
She held up her own tentacle in a toast of sorts.
Re: Exam Rooms
She returned the toast and popped the tentacle in her mouth, giving it a most satisfying chew.
Re: Exam Rooms
Re: Exam Rooms
"'s perfect," she agreed and helped herself to another mouthful.
Re: Exam Rooms
Re: Exam Rooms
"You only eat this well when your friends bring you baskets from Cafe Fina," she said, "I had a look at the food yesterday, and, frankly, I was a little glad I felt too nauseous to eat much of it."
Re: Exam Rooms
Re: Exam Rooms
"How is everyone else doing?" she asked, "I know that some of the ghosts were pretty...horrific for most people to have to deal with. Let alone cranky tentacles."
