Tommy walked into the lobby and saw the statue of Alanna and Faithful.
"What in the chocolate-covered crispy Christ?"
He sighed. He tapped Alanna on the forehead. No response.
"Great. Just great. I hope you don't expect to get paid for the days you're slacking off like this."
He went to his desk and put up a note that Alanna's shifts would need to be covered for as long as she was standing there doing nothing.
