Natalie arrived for her shift and immediately set to work. The laptop was left open on the front desk, music filtering through the speakers, and the television was muted on The Weather Channel. Natalie herself could be found flitting between the front desk and the lab.

There was a cure out there. If anything, her recent dreams made her more determined to find it.
