FTEC, Saturday, Day Shift
Natalie glanced at the television behind her and blinked. The movie had long since stopped playing, and had reverted to the cable stations. Since when did they show cartoons in the middle of the night? She furrowed her brow and looked at her watch, startled by what she saw. How was this possible? Had she been that caught up in her research?
Pushing her chair back, she moved cautiously to the window and peered cautiously through the blinds. The first rays of morning were beginning to peek over the horizon, the sky above quickly brightening to a clear blue. With no cloud cover, no coat, and no trunk to climb into, she was -- at least for now -- stuck in the clinic.
She shook her head. "Might as well get a few things done," she muttered and moved back to her laptop. Maybe she'd head to the lab in a few minutes.
Her eyes darted to the floor where the sunlight began creeping in through the front glass doors.
Picking up her laptop and lab notebooks, she edged backward. "Right after I move."
She took up residence in one of the non-descript cubicles off to the side...and made sure all the blinds were closed.
[I'll be bouncing back and forth today. If the response is too slow, feel free to use the NPC nurse.]

handwavegot this brace, was told to come back in about a week.""Quack." the duck said, sounding much better than it had last time.
Re: Lobby/Not-so-Front-Desk
Her frown deepened as she regarded the duck. Did the same principles apply here as with humans. Theoretically, they did, but she wasn't exactly an expert.
She moved forward and removed the brace. That done, she carefully maneuvered her fingers around the duck's neck, checking for any muscle tension and vertebrae out of place.
Re: Lobby/Not-so-Front-Desk
There was some tension, but nothing out of place.

I need a duck iconRe: Lobby/Not-so-Front-Desk
She fought the urge to face-palm. She was, after all, prescribing what amounted to physical therapy for a duck.

"Is aggresive behavior typical for the waterfowl on this island? Because I'm pretty sure he divebombed my head on purpose."
