The walk to the clinic was an interesting one, what with the sidewalks still caked with fig and other various types of puddings that didn't necessarily mix. And I never liked fig pudding as a mortal..., Nat thought as she eased open the front door of the clinic. She made her way to her office, slipped into her lab coat, and settled in at the front desk with her laptop.
