FTEC, Wednesday day

Tommy did a quick check on all the patients - that Tyler kid still wasn't looking good, but comparatively speaking he was starting to look better - and then settled down at his desk to do the very important job of reading the sports section.

"I really wanted to bring you something more educational, but with school being out and all...there's no homework." Blair is very sad about that. "So...uh... wheelchair? How're doing, man?"

"Yeah, pity about the no homework thing," Walter said, trying to make it sound like he might actually mean it.

"The legs work, people just keep yelling at me when I get up, so wheelchair. How's the craziness with the new students?"

"I don't even know if I've met half of them yet, man." Blair leaned against the wall. "There's a lot on my floor though, so I've just been meeting them in the halls. Jude and I are throwing a slumber party in the 4th floor common room tonight, so maybe I'll meet more people!"

"It should be totally awesome, we're going to have snacks and watch movies and do all the cool slumber party things." Blair bounced and then realized it might not be a possibility for Walter to come. "Or it could totally suck, you know."

"That's brilliant, Blair. If I don't escape in time, there'll be other parties. It's summer, right?" And plenty more trouble to get into, too.

"Tons of parties." Blair nodded eagerly. "Way better than slumber ones."

"I'll do that. And Dean too, he's pretty awesome. And Sakurazki is nice, although she does have a hang up about no one giving her a nickname."

"It's physical therapy. I have to keep in shape for the next time we all start singing at each other.

"Thanks for the offer," he said, trying not wince at the mention of All and Sundries. "If they have any puzzle books, that would be brilliant. I don't want to read everything about moose mating calls and have nothing left to do."

Walter flipped open the top book and started to read. Hm. He hadn't known that about moose.
