FTEC, Tuesday Night

Nat had slept a little better during the day today and, as a result, felt up to running a few tests in the lab. She bounced happily between the lab and the front desk. On the television, The Thin Man Goes Home was playing and offered amusing background noise.

Pip stepped into the room and stripped off his shirt. His back and chest were covered in stitched up cuts, some short, some long.

Nat slipped back to the lab to make sure her samples were safely stored in the specimen fridge, then moved back to Exam 1. Entering the room, she frowned at the veritable pin cushion waiting for her. She shook her head. "Meet up with something in a dark alley?" A wry smile crossed her lips as she gathered her supplies and snapped on a pair of gloves.

"Someone with a pair of knives, and it was on a scaffolding," Pip answered. "Actually, pair of someones, but I only met with one of them, so to speak."

Her brows arched in surprise as she applied the local anesthetic, then began to make quick work of the stitches. If he didn't want to elaborate, that was fine... but this town certainly had a knack for injuring the students. Then again, some of them went looking for trouble.

"You'll feel a bit of pressure," she advised as she went to work on one of the longer cuts.

Pip grit his teeth as the doctor started digging in.

Nat worked as quickly as she dared, knowing it was uncomfortable. She'd only had a stitch or two in her pre-crossing life, and it had been enough to burn into memory that she'd never wanted to do it again. Not so much a problem anymore, she thought.

After a bit, she sat back. The small tray next to the table was littered with bits of what looked like string, and she placed her snips down with a clank. Next, the gloves came off. She regarded Pip with a smile. "You've healed up fine, though you might want to take it easy until you get used to moving normally again."

Pip stretched a little. "Thanks, yeah. I have every intention of just taking it easy for a while though my mun doesn't." He reached for his shirt and pulled it back on. "I'm not sure we've met, Dr....?"

"Lambert." She smiled, extending a hand once he had his shirt back on.
