FTEC, Saturday night, March 11

Tommy came into the clinic for his shift and saw what remained of the chaos from the night before and did not know to thank Lana for doing what she could to help clean up.

"What in the name of caramel crunchy Christ went on here?" Tommy asked, of nobody in particular. "No, wait, don't care."

He went to his desk and hoped nobody was going to bug him today.

He's there. He's somewhat aware people were all emo emotional and melodramatic in his clinic. He's about as thrilled about that as you can imagine.

Janet came in and started rifling through the main area for discharge paperwork. With any luck, it was someplace easy to find.

"Non-Canadian chick," Tommy said, by way of friendly greeting. "Whatcha looking for?"

"Discharge paperwork," said Janet, waving quickly as she rummaged through a stack of papers. She kept them mostly in order. "Angel should be ready to be out of your hands today."

Tommy pointed to one of the plastic inboxes on his desk. Yes, he could've just handed one to her but... he didn't feel like it. "There ya go. So Queer Eye's feeling better?"

Nat entered a bit later in the evening, sans laptop. She felt it was her duty to see the clinic finally in one piece, and finish cleaning up any items left behind.

"Hi, Tommy," Nat said. She'd come to accept Tommy's rather unusual greeting. She smiled at him as she leaned on the counter. "How's the Saturday shift going?"

Before the Perk closes, she pops in and picks up some normal coffee for Tommy and a vanilla latte for herself. Word had gotten around that Angel was going to pull through, so she figured the clinic might be quiet and slow...you know, boring.

Figuring Angel would probably have a deluge of visitors during the day, Cameron dropped by in the evening. While the radio had said that Angel was going to survive, he had no clue exactly what condition he was in, so he tried to keep quiet anyway as he entered.

Angel was sitting up and sleeping resting his eyes for just a second when Cam came in. He looked a thousand times better than when Cam had seen him last. "Hey."

"Yo, man. Looking good," Cameron said cheerfully as he sauntered towards the bed. "If I'd known you were on getting better I would have taken you with me last night instead of letting you sit here on your ass."

Janet came quietly into the room, just in case Angel was asleep. Upon seeing him awake, she smiled, letting a touch of relief show.

"You're welcome," she said. Janet waved to Cameron as she came over to Angel's bed. "I thought I'd stop by and see how you were feeling. I also assumed you wanted to get back home."

Rory stood in the doorway, her arms laden with DVDs and books, and her laptop bag over her shoulder.

"Hey, Molly!" Angel said. "Janet says I can go home!"

So what if Janet hadn't actually said anything like that yet. Angel was hoping he could influence her with peer pressure.
