Blood Drive of the Chosen Ones, Day 2

Janet was in Exam Room 2 at the clinic again, prepping to collect blood from any Chosen One who stopped in to donate. With luck, people had spread the word of the blood drive and Janet wouldn't have to hunt down any more Chosen types to donate. Not that she was going to let them add that to their library card application from now on either. Because she was making a list from the donors.

OOC: Please see the regular clinic post for any medical needs or to visit Angel. Tommy gave me permission to open a separate post just for the blood drive.

Note - I am setting up a separate OOC thread in case you want someone to haul you in for the blood drive. Just ping me in that thread and we'll arrange it.

ETA</>: I need to be in slowplay due to RL. Frak. Sorry, guys. I've been playing pretty steadily for a few hours, but I'm going to keep the thread open for slowplay through tomorrow morning. That's about all the time I'll have for it before Janet has to start playing working in the lab and combining all the ingredients.

Note: If you are looking for Angel's dying letter to you, it will be in Janet's bag (which you can get to through the General Conversation thread). The bag has been left open, but you will have to steal the letter; Janet will not be giving it out to you unless Angel is truly dead. If Janet catches you, you're in for a world of hurt, but she won't catch you unless you let me know OOC that you want to be caught.

Marty isn't here to donate because he knows that he isn't part of any goofy prophecy or part of any chosen. He does however want to find out if anything they found over in England has been used yet to help Angel yet.

Cordelia looks a little nervous, having never been a huge fan of seeing her blood leave her body. But it was for Angel, and she knew that she would do pretty much anything for him.

"Okay. I'm reading for you to suck the life-force out of me. Go nuts. I still think this 'chosen one' thing is crap, though."

Susan walked over to Exam Room 2, her head still spinning from the latest news that Mr. Carson had gifted her with, and finally saw a familiar face. "Janet? Evidently, I'm here to give blood."

After visiting Angel, Logan looked into Exam 2 to see what was going on. Everyone was busy. Helpful. Purposeful. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and watched for a minute.

He was just about to turn and go when he spotted his name. Moving closer, he saw a few folded pieces of paper near Janet, one with his name on it. He glanced at Janet, but she was busy with the blood drive. Logan reached out and slipped the piece of paper into his pocket when she was looking the other way.

There's orange juice and also several boxes of yummy cookies around for anyone who's donated blood. Perhaps some kind souls Blair and possibly Molly too could help out and make sure no one leaves without snacking first?

After visiting Angel, Bel lingered to see how the blood drive was going in the other exam room and not because he wanted to get his hands on any particular note with his name on it.

At a moment when Janet wasn't busy, he approached her and asked, "Hey, Janet, Phoebe fainted yesterday. She gave blood and that sometimes happens, right? Or should I be worried?"

After visiting with Angel, Parker was upset enough to need a minute to pull it together. Plus, she wanted to know if Janet had figured out how to use the stone and unicorn horn shavings they'd picked up. And no, she's not looking for a note, of course not. Looking around, she waited until Janet had a second to talk.

Cordy didn't really feel like waiting around for the 10 minutes like she was supposed to. She just wanted to go lie down in her own bed.

So she was staggering vaguely around, on her way out, when she stumbled quietly into the counter and her arm rested on Janet's bag. She looked down and noticed a piece of paper with her own name on it. Confused, she reached in reflexively and opened it. She read it quickly and put the note back in its place.

She wiped a tear and stumbled out of the office.

Rory walked through after seeing Angel, and spied a piece of paper sticking out of Janet's bag, with "Professor Tick" written on it in almost recognizable writing.

Being a good TA, she carefully took it and stuck it in her purse to give to him later.

Will the blood drive still be going on this evening? Because Isabel is off in Baltimore for the day and won't be returning till 7.

Nadia's plan is to head to town today to pick up some things, so someone spotting her outside and dragging her in to be tested would probably be the best plan.

We can totally wait to play any of this till tonight when your kid is in bed.
