Christian opened the clinic Friday morning. He settled in the lobby, feet propped up on a chair, as he flipped through a copy of FHM.

Christian rummaged through a cabinet and tossed Nadia a two-week supply of Ambien. "Try one half a tablet, then a full one if that doesn't help," he said. "It's non-addictive, but if you need help sleeping for more than a few days, that's a sign there's something else wrong."

Nadia nodded, looking at the pills. "Okay. Thanks again. Hopefully I won't have to keep coming in here."
