There would be the smell of freshly brewing coffee, the rustle of paperwork and perhaps even some music from the small radio Wilson had taken to keeping around to keep him company during the day.

Doctor on Duty, come bleed or beg coffee!

Wilson had rather been hoping that Angelus wasn't going to pick up on that part of the note. Course he knew it was a fairly futile hope from the beginning.

"It's a small town, Angelus. Hard not to know people around here."

Deciding that was a rhetorical question in who's answer could only bring more pain, Wilson crossed one ankle across the opposite knee and quietly waited to see if Angelus had any questions or concerns of a medical nature.
