"Good evening Dr. House." Alanna looks a bit tired, and her finally long enough hair is pulled back in a pony tail. "Cookie?"

On her way to work, Angela stops in the clinic, deciding she had better take care of things before she loses her nerve.

"Dr. House? I have, um, a question."

Angela draws a breath. Despite having planned it out, she still doesn't feel quite ready.

But she has to be.

Staring at her shoes, she says, "Um ... I have a boyfriend and I kind of want, um, the pill, or whatever, I guess. Please."

House looks at Rover, looks at Duce. He remembers her from the night she brought the kid inn with a gremlin bite. Snakes kind of give her away.

"What happened to you?" he asks, moving in closer than might be safe.

Jack wakes up in one of the clinic beds. He's tied to the bed (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhigh/221745.html?thread=10355249#t10355249). He is in excruciating pain. He is, thankfully, sane again.

He also remembers everything he did to Lindsey and CJ.

He'd really like to be not conscious now.

House sighs and approaches the bed. "Looks like you've been a naughty boy."

Allie gives him a withering look (well, as withering as she is capable of).

"I don't recall cookie baking being in my job description," she says, as she walks over to Jack.

Tara comes into the clinic, panting, with Maia unconscious in her arms.

"Help!"

House looks up. "Put her in a bed." he uses his cane to point to an empty one. "What happened?"

Tara puts Maia down, stroking her face with worried hands. "I found her on the floor of her room, and I can't wake her up. Her aura's been flickering since yesterday - she said it felt like hands were pulling her down, and she's got all these bruises." Tara draws back Maia's sleeves to show the finger-shaped bruises on her neck and arms. "And now I can hardly see it at all."

((OOC: Maia-mun is out of town for eleven days, and will basically be in a coma the whole time. She's experiencing psychic attacks from the people who stole the 4400 originally.)
